The trend towards sustainability has become vital and for most companies it is common practice to act as responsibly as possible towards their workforce, the environment and society. In order to allow also small and medium sized companies to tackle this issue systematically, the natioal ESF funded programme  „CSR-Gesellschaftliche Verantwortung im Mittelstand“ (CSR - Social Responsibility of SMEs) advises SMEs in the fields of action "workplace", "environment", "market" and "community" in the the strategic use of CSR activities.
