Die Sozialforschungsstelle (sfs) der TU Dortmund stellt eine globale Studie zu sozialen Innovationen vor.
Für das von der EU geförderte Projekt SI-DRIVE „Social Innovation: Driving Force of Social Change“ wurden von 25 internationalen Projektpartnern 1.005 Initiativen sozialer Innovation genauer betrachtet.
Es wurde in die Bereiche Bildung und Lebenslanges Lernen, Beschäftigung, Umwelt und Klimawandel, Energieversorgung, Transport und Mobilität, Gesundheit und Sozialfürsorge, sowie Armutsbekämpfung und nachhaltige Entwicklung geschaut.
Die Lösung von Problemen in diesen Bereichen braucht die Einbeziehung von sozialen Innovationen, diese können Antworten auf gesellschaftliche Probleme liefern und komplexe Innovationsprozesse anstoßen.
